ALTUS High Cheerleaders take 3rd at State!

Way to go girls! We are all so proud of them! They did so well!

The look on Rachel's face when her coach hugged her, said it all! She later told me that she said, "Way to do it girl, you've done so much for the team." She told me she couldn't explain how much of an adrenaline rush she had, and how close the team was and was so happy... so excited they were when they said... "third place... Altus High!" It was unreal.

Hannah is Student of the Week

Being Student of the Week at the Junior High means alot of things. She received many free treats including lunch with the principal. He will take her and the 7th grade boy student to the Lions Club for lunch on Thursday. Hannah asked her dad last night if she would be the only girl there and he said probably so. She will be the star of the day. Way to go Hannah!

Rachel goes to competition

Saturday was Rachel's first cheerleading competition. As a freshman, she made the cut to go to regionals with the varsity squad. This means working out extra hard to perform in her first high school competition. They qualified for STATE which will be in Norman, Oklahoma on Oct 4th. Moore time practicing!
